AES Clean Energy (AES) is currently seeking a full-time Real Estate Paralegal to assist the development efforts as a member of AES's Legal Team. The Legal Team, in coordination with the Real Estate and Land Acquisition teams, is responsible for development and financing of AES's real estate rights related to utility-scale wind, solar, and battery storage projects throughout the United States. The successful candidate will work on the Real Estate team, reporting to Real Estate Legal Counsel.
Remote work is available for this position, with the opportunity to work from one of AES Clean Energy offices in Salt Lake City, UT; Louisville, CO; San Francisco, CA; Long Beach, CA; or Richmond, VA.
This role will require a high level of detail orientation, as well as strong communication and organizational skills. We are seeking a self-directed professional with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment and on multiple tasks and projects. The candidate will be responsible for working with the Legal Team in preparing draft legal documents, assisting with time sensitive project closings, assisting with management and completion of legal requests, and other miscellaneous project and administrative tasks. The position holds room for growth in the exciting and expanding field of renewable energy development.
