If you have a keen eye for the big picture, excellent production skills, and enjoy working collaboratively, we may have the perfect role for you! As the Machine Shop Supervisor, you'll be responsible for reviewing our production schedules, material needs, and manpower resources, assigning employees to maximize our production objectives, informing employees of production and material problems, and resolving problems affecting schedules while maintaining the quality of our products. You'll participate in establishing and modifying our operational methods and processes by recommending changes in materials, equipment, and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field of study
- Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
- Ability to understand and interpret technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals and/or publications
- Experience with corrective action planning
- Previous management or lead experience; the ability to recruit employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence
- Experience in a manufacturing, production or warehouse environment
- Thorough understanding and experience with the practical application of manufacturing principles
Preferred Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years in a leadership position within an aerospace machining and or fabrication environment
- Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
- Ability to understand and interpret technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals and/or publications
- Experience with corrective action planning
- Previous management or lead experience; the ability to recruit employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence
- Experience with 3 and 5 axis CAD/CAM programming best practices
- Thorough understanding and experience with the practical application of manufacturing principles
- Typically, 10-15 years of relevant experience
- A higher level degree may substitute for experience
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military
Physical/Mental/Emotional Requirements:
- Frequently walk, sit, stand, climb stairs and steps
- Frequently repeat same hand, arm, and finger motion many times to include finger and hand dexterity
- Frequently requires vision abilities to include close, distance, depth perception and telling the difference between colors
- Frequently requires hearing abilities to include discerning different tones and volumes
- Rarely lifting or carrying up to 35 lbs.
Working Conditions:
- Occasionally exposed to outdoor elements (high/low temperatures, sun, rain/snow, etc.)
- Frequently exposed to fumes or hazardous chemicals/materials
- Frequently exposed to loud noises
Safety Sensitive Position:
- Responsible for the safety or security of people or property
- Inspects, handles, or transports explosives, dangerous or hazardous materials
- Inspects structures, equipment or vehicles
- Operate or supervise vehicles, heavy or dangerous equipment or machinery
