Connected vehicles and vehicle-to-everything V2X technology are poised to radically transform the transportation industry. Cirrus by Panasonic is a cloud based data aggregation and insights IoT platform processing 200M transactions per day and bringing together the digital and physical worlds to make transportation safer and more efficient. Cirrus empowers traffic operators and fleet managers with real time actionable information about vehicles, roadways, and infrastructure to positively impact the safety and mobility of vehicles, cyclists, and pedestrians.

What you'll get to do:

The position will represent the Cirrus business to prospective customers through a consultative selling approach. In this role, you will develop and progress a sales pipeline to support business revenue goals by helping prospects identify their connected vehicle needs and matching those needs to Cirrus products and services. This position will report into the Head of Products and Sales and will work closely with functional business areas including product, data science and analytics, deployment and customer success to drive business strategy within your areas of expertise.

  • Revenue Generation- Expertly execute the sales function from prospecting through consultative deal construction to meet Cirrus revenue goals within a 2B Government Transportation market sector in North America.
  • Serve as the eyes and ears of Cirrus in the marketplace with a knack for identifying opportunities and prioritizing limited sales resources on the right deals
  • Develop both short term wins and long term strategies to support current and future sales goals.
  • Serve as the primary relationship owner to guide assigned accounts through the customer journey and convert new prospects into deals won.
  • Contribute original content e.g. videos, blogs, white papers, etc in support of Cirrus marketing goals.
  • Drive Request For Proposal and grant responses, proposing winning approaches, developing content, and executing a team strategy.
  • Sales Strategy- Continually evaluate and improve sales, marketing, and customer development performance, processes and systems.
  • Provide product market feedback to Cirrus from customer interactions to help guide the product roadmap and sales direction.

What You'll Bring:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree BS BA or equivalent combination of experience and skills.

Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years B2B or B2G sales or consulting experience, preferably in digital tech, SaaS or related to transportation.
  • Ideal candidate would have experience focused on B2G, public sector, or government sales development and or procurement in the transportation and mobility space.
  • Experience consulting with customers to identify needs and match those needs to business capabilities.
  • Proven history of advancing prospects through sales stages and closing deals.
  • Experience organizing and executing at trade shows and or conferences is desired
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer facing communication and skills. Able to strategize deal structures for complex sales environments, preferably B2G.
  • Deep understanding of account lead generation, sales, and sales process especially in the public sector government space.
  • Familiarity with effective approaches to nurturing leads and driving deal progress. Excels at cross functional communications across marketing, sales, and senior management.
  • Data driven, can work with a CRM system, understand KPIs and report on success while recommending optimization opportunities for the sales development process.
  • Experience working both independently and within close teams in a fast paced work environment, managing multiple opportunities and responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Demonstrates drive and tenacity to maintain high levels of productivity works with vigor, effectiveness, and determination Seizes opportunities Can be counted on to exceed goals successfully Other Requirements Preferred for this position to be based in Denver, CO Panasonic office, but not required. Travel to support sales, marketing, and customer events up to 50.

The salary range of 150K-175K isjust one component of Panasonic's total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual's knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives.
