Substation Engineer

Ulteig is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Substation Engineer, for the Energy sector in their Denver, CO location. The substation engineer must be able to design all electrical elements within the substation yard including:  conduit and cable sizing, bus work, equipment specifications, auxiliary AC and DC power, grounding, and lightening protection. Candidates must also be able to independently and effectively work on projects with our clients.  The substation engineer will need to understand the concept of project management and possess the skills to be able to work effectively in a multidiscipline team environment.
 
Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 4 years of industry experience. PE registration is required.  Strong knowledge in physical substation design is required. Proven experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access) is required and an understanding of AutoCAD is preferred.
